Is the unit on? Make sure the switch, located on the system’s side, is flipped on. - The thermostat
Check to see if it’s turned to cool and that the temperature set point is lower than the home’s temperature. - The coil
This needs to be clean, free of cotton, wood and/or dust. - The saver switch
Call your power company to see if they’re turning off the unit with the saver switch. A light on the switch will indicate this.
